About

The message is clear – “The World Trade Center Will Live on Forever”, a photo montage of beauty and inspiration created by photographer Steve Sachs.

The seven pictures displayed are from the private collection of Steve’s family, whose roots in New York City date back to the late 19th century. The earliest picture (1926) was taken by his father, Joseph H. Sachs, which dipicts the New York Telephone building (now the Verizon building). This is just one of a variety of New York City localities that Joe Sachs photographed in the early 20th century.

Steve, who is fascinated by the life, energy and urban development of New York City, and inspired by his father’s work, took the remaining photographs (1969 – 2014). With the intention to develop something that was inspiring and uplifting, Steve created the Wall of Remembrance.

Displayed against a black background, these original photographs stand out and catch the eye of everyone who passes it. The wall is a work of art that can be displayed proudly in every American’s home and by doing so, sends the message that the Twin Towers will never be forgotten and more importantly, the victims of this tragic attack.
